Celebrations at Marriot Hotel Manila

This post is long overdue. I try to document my family celebrations/adventures on my website so I’m blogging this anyway.

The month of May is extra special for me and Tom because we celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, Mother’s Day and his birthday all on the same month.

Since we’re “hotel people” (and travel with the whole family is out of the question till Dylan is old enough to appreciate visiting different places), we decided to go on a quick getaway and celebrate at the Marriot Hotel Manila, Resorts World.

Tom booked us a suite at the hotel

We love the welcome “chuchu

From left: I should copy this small floral arrangement for the home. Haha; All mango delight!

Since we intended to relax, bawal ang tech station (no blogging allowed) on this office set-up.

Hmm... Weird without my laptop on the table, noh? Anyway, it was a refreshing change.

The pillow arrangement and bedding mimic our bedroom at home. Lav et!

Best in "relaxing" si Tom!

This is what I love about hotel suites over standard rooms: two flat screen TVs and sliding door dividers.

Welcome note

Someone's been reading my blog. Teehee

We can only stay in the room for so long, at some point we need to eat…

We booked a steak dinner at CRU, located at the lobby of Marriot Hotel Manila.

I made a reservation and asked for our favorite table

Happy wife, happy life! Haha!

I know, I know, what’s Aryanna doing on our getaway? Well, she begged us to eat steak at CRU. Haha! Haaay!

Anyway, who else would have taken our photos if not her… Pfft!

Tom: “What should I order?”
Me: ” Let’s see… Uhm… Steak?” @.@

Me: “Isn’t this nice, hun? This place is really romantic.”
Tom: “I’m glad we did this. We needed a break and just be with each other.”
Aryanna: “Mom… Dad… I’m so hungrrrry!”
Me and Tom: *bubble burst*

Haay Aryanna! Ayan, kumain ka na! LOL

Tip: Check out CRU's set menu. They have different sets for different price points. It's worth ordering them especially for family/ group dinners.

Surprise!

My husband looks happy and pleased. Happy Birthday! Happy 17th year anniversary! Love you, hun!

So sweet!

Thanks to the Marriot staff! You guys rock!

The Eppersons’ parting shot

In the end, we were happy that Aryanna joined us for dinner and celebrated with us! Pinauwi na namin s'ya pagkatapos lumafur! Pero bumalik din for breakfast! NKKLK!

Thanks again Marriot Hotel Manila for your excellent service! Special thanks to Marriott Hotel Manila’s Director of Marketing and Communications Michelle Garcia for making our stay extra special!

Dear Marriot Hotel Manila, if at any point you want to sell this animal dΓ©cor, please call me! Love this piece!
