The “Adajar Smile”

I’ve heard about Dr. Cielo Adajar from some of the celebrities and makeup artists I worked with. For years (yes, it took me three years to finally meet her), I’ve been meaning to visit her clinic but life got in the way.

This year, I finally made an appointment with Doc Cielo for a consultation…three hours later, I had celebrity-looking smile! Grabe ang bilis at ang ganda ko lang! Haha!

While hanging out in her clinic, nagchikahan na kami at nadiscover ko na lahat ng pinagdaanan n’ya sa buhay. Very, very MMK lang ang peg. Her story is inspiring. Not only is she a self-made woman, she is also an artist! You’ll know what I mean once she works on your teeth.

This year, Doc Cielo and husband Doc Sonny finally moved to their new clinic. Hindi ako nakapunta sa blessing kasi busy-busyhan ako. Alamoyan, doc!

Try The Body Shop’s Vitamin C Plus facial radiance capsules. Basically, I use these caps to revitalize my skin. Not edible. Para sa mukha ito! Pop the pill open and put the serum on your face! Its Antioxidant Vitamin C helps your skin produce collagen, improving elasticity and protecting you from pollution and other skin aggressors. Brazil Nut Oil also helps moisten and soften your skin.

Tip: Use it an hour before bedtime so that the serum gets absorbed by the skin and not by your pillow! Haha!

The Tom Ford make up line is launching this September 3, stirring a buzz all over the fashion world. Tom Ford, the dashing and debonair designer is extending his reach beyond clothing, and there’s an interesting story behind it! He says he has always been very concerned with women’s beautifying regimens, because when he was 14, he tried to put cucumbers on his eyes and they got swollen shut! Wawa!

Thank god for cucumbers though because this year, he is applying his expertise on fashion and beauty on our faces! Over 136 products of full range cosmetics are to be launched in a few days, from skin care products to brushes to all sorts of colors to make you feel like a total glamazon!

My Fellow Virgo (Leveling)

Happy Birthday Coco!

First name basis! Feeling close, diba? Haha!

But then again, she really is close to my heart! Coco Chanel is one of my biggest style icons. If I had a peso for every time I had quoted her to others and to myself, I would be a very wealthy woman.

So it’s no surprise that I read on inspired and giddy as a schoolgirl, being the Coco groupie that I am, when news broke out that Chanel No. 19 has been released!

Chanel No. 19 is a tribute to the day that marked the birth of one of the fashion world’s most celebrated names. Gabriele “Coco” Chanel was born on the 19th of August 1883 (yay for Virgos). More than two centuries later, to present day, we still feel her influence in our way of living. It’s only right to pay homage to such an amazing woman!
