I received a DM on Twitter last week about a surprise from one of my readers, Say Tioco. Say was one of my “Jennirosity Day” winners (iPhone 4 giveaway). I started following her on Twitter after reading her experience when she won my iPhone 4 giveaway. I also discovered that she is passionate about makeup! Fab.

Like me, she is a prolific blogger (read: atatey magblog! LOL)! Grabe lang s’ya sa sharing is caring department with her makeup tutorials on youtube!

So, I just had a Lithotripsy procedure and had to stay at home for two days. The doctor handed-over a “DIET INSTRUCTION FOR PATIENT WITH STONE” just great! All the normal food we cook at home I cannot find it there so imagine how difficult it’s like. I remember I always wanted to cook tuna pasta as it is my comfort food whenever I’m sick. Plus it will be great to blog about it and send the twitpic for Ms. Jenni Epperson as I am a fan since I started using twitter. I got so excited! We still have some cooked pasta leftover from Colin’s 3rd month party last Sunday it must still be OK lol!. All I have to prepare is the tuna sauce. And its’ easy as 1..,2,,,3…”

I also had a kidney stone scare a few years ago and it was a very painful experience. Since then, I’ve been drinking more water and eating healthier. I hope you’d do the same. Health is wealth!

I’ve Got Mail: So, I’m Like “SM”?

“I have been a follower of Jenni since her mabuhaygirl blog (she starts her blog posts with her signature line “mabuhay!”) then her welovejenni blog, and now in her newest venture, a website, no not just a blog but a whole website about her and what she wants to share to her “shoppingera/ro” readers!

I’m still getting used to her new website (I loved her blogspot account because her posts were sooo easy to read), but I totally support her spreading her wings in this new venture. Before, I visited her page very often because of the colorful step-by-step pictures of her signature recipes. Her recipes are “easy-peasy” as she calls it, so it was actually her, who made me try my hand at cooking. For her “Meatless Fridays” posts, i submitted a pic of tuna pasta I cooked at home, and she posted it on her site, too! Sometimes, she features ingredients that cannot be found in our own grocers, but she always gives alternatives. I’ve already learned a lot about ingredients/food/recipes just by visiting her site. One more thing I like about Jenni’s blog is the free window shopping I get. She features all of these beautiful clothes, cool gadgets for work and play, home accessories, lahat lahat na! As Divine would say it, para siyang SM, she’s got it all for you!

Oh and did I say, Jenni has a beautiful family, too! The best thing is that her blog radiates her love for her family and the people around her. And she knows how to “pay it forward” like mother becky Divine.
